Pakistan 2010
$2,003 with an average of $166.89 a month!  What's that you say? That is an estimate of how much money I spent on eating out last year.  Again, it is an estimate.  This does not count for all those quick stops with fast cash for cold drinks during the summer.  $167 a month can sponsor about 3 pastors in Pakistan for one month to serve the Lord, tend to the needs of the sheep, work the harvest field, and work the works of Jesus Christ.  That's about $50 and some change a month for a pastor in Pakistan.  How much do Americans pay their pastors?  Between $37,000 - 66,000 a year or $3,000 - 6,000 a month!  WOW.  Does it really cost that much to live in America?

Americans are some of the greatest consumers on the earth.  Did you know that America uses 75% of the world's electricity?  Were you aware that most of the world, the terrain and landscape of the earth is not America?  Go to a map and see how small America is to Africa, China, or Russia.  Get this!  Churches spend about $450,000,000 a year on buildings alone!  Yes, billions of dollars every single year on physical buildings that Christ Jesus does not dwell in (Hebrews 9:11 and  24).  I even worked at a church last year briefly in Memphis that spent $100,000 for 2010 just on lawn maintenance.  OUTRAGEOUS!  Cable bills?  Are you serious.  Christians waisting their prescious time to pay for a signal from the sky designed to suck time from them with worldliness, carnality, and every evil known to man?  Which only chokes out the word they heard, that is, if they heard any word?

Folks, time is ticking.  Romans 14:12 says "So then every one of us shall give an account of himself to God."  You've heard it straight from the Bible so I cannot tell you what to do with your relationship with God, with your faith, with your Christianity.  You must answer for yourself and I must do the same.  Think about this for a minute.  Did you know that you can cut your cable off and take that monthly cable bill money and sponsor an orphan in Pakistan to have food, clothes, love, care, and be taught the word of God for about $18 a month?  That's $0.60 a day!

I can keep going and going.  I have walked the villages of Christians, the slums of believers.  I have seen the despair in the eyes of those who are persecuted because of Christ Jesus living inside of them.  I have become Pakistani in Pakistan to tell you for myself that the persecution, the injustice, and the oppression of Christians in Pakistan is real!  Sewage, manuer, flies?  There is no way a born again Christian from America in all of our comfort, user friendly convenience, common wealth society, "created needs" lifestyle, materialistic justification, worldiness, selfishness, greediness, pride, and neglect can truly say that our motive is overlooked by God.  Furthermore, if you were in the slums of your brothers, sisters, mothers, and fathers in Pakistan and you knew you had brothers, sisters, mothers, and fathers in America that could easily make a difference in your life, would you want them to help you if they could?  Jude 1:23 says "And on some have compassion, making a difference."

This is nothing to pray about. Don't be spiritual about natural needs.  You don't pray about what you should eat when you're hungry.  You don't pray about how you should sleep when you're tired.  Don't pray about giving and helping your persecuted brothers, sisters, mothers, and fathers in Pakistan.  Come on, lets be honest.  Can you live without cable so that one orphan can live life (James 1:27)?  Can you stop eating out so that as many as 40 pastors (if you spent $2,000 last year on eating out, with food at home) can work the works of Jesus to preach the gospel and make disciples in Pakistan?  If persecuted Christians cannot get help from free and comfortable Christians, who will help them?

Those are the most urgent and immediate needs of Pakistan.  There are other needs that would allow the ministry to reach more people.  It's a 3rd world country.  Your USD (US Dollar) goes a long way.  If you make the difference in one life, you have made the difference in their world.
Matthew 7:15-20  Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.  A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, not can a bad tree bear good fruit.  Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.  Therefore by their fruits you will know them.

Matthew 12:33 Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.
